Angela Roth graduated in business administration from the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg. Subsequent to her studies she has been working at the Fraunhofer IIS (work group: Supply Chain Services), first as research assistant and later as head of the department for Desicion Support Systems. She finished her dissertation and habilitation in the field of logistics (Modelling of warehouses and logistics education).
Since 2011 she is has been at the Chair for Information Systems – Innovation and Value Creation at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg, where she is also a member of the Center for Management, Technology and Society. Her research focus is on service innovation. In this context she is leading the Open Service Lab. Additionally, she is a member of the scientific board of the Fraunhofer Institut IIS/ work group Supply Chain Services.
