Dr. Emilio Matthaei has been a researcher at the HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management, the University Erlangen-Nuremberg and the University of Oxford. In 2009, he graduated as "Dr. rer. oec." with summa cum laude from HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management.

His dissertation "The Nature of Executive Work" has been published at Gabler Publishers as well as his book with Prof. Dr. Kathrin Möslein on "Strategies for Innovators".

Today, Dr. Matthaei lives and works in London, and his core interests are in the fields of strategy and finance.
