Contents and objectives: This course takes place every winter semester and is designed as an interactive workshop. Students interact extensively between themselves and with the lecturers.

The course concerns itself with the following questions:

• How do new attractive ideas develop?
• Where do they come from?
• How can we systematically look for new ideas?
• What is prototyping?
• How does it facilitate the innovation process?
• How can we learn from our customer?
• And which „innovation tools “support the innovative development?

Together with our cooperation partners from practice the students test a rich spectrum at innovation tools and experience their potentials and limitations.
