The BMBF funded joint project BigDieMo develops tools for the design of Big Data services for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME’s) to utilize the commonly untapped potentials of already collected data for service innovations.

BigDieMo aims to empower SME’s to expand their current portfolio instructed and purposeful with a methodical kit for the development of Big Data services by data based service business models. The kit will be tested during pilot projects with our partners – Prof. Dr. Gerhard Satzger’s Karlsruhe Service Research Institute (KSRI) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Prof. Dr. Tilo Böhmann’s research group IT Management and Consulting at the University of Hamburg and industrial partners like Areva, Bosch, Festo or mytaxi. Furthermore, there will be exemplary case studies carried out which will be afterwards made available for interested SME’s.
