SAP Course Offerings

Wichtig: Die Kurstermine für das Wintersemester 2011/2012 stehen fest. Es werden ingesamt 2 Kurse angeboten, für die Sie sich auf der Studon-Plattform anmelden können:

- Samstagskurs: 12.11 und 19.11 jeweils zwischen 09:00 - 18:00
- Samstagskurs: 03.12 und 10.12 jeweils zwischen 09:00 - 18:00
- Selbstlernkurs: Zusätzlich besteht auch die Möglichkeit, den Kurs im Selbstlernverfahren durchzuführen.

Da die Nachfrage nach den Kursen in der Regel sehr hoch ist, können leider nicht alle Interessenten teilnehmen. Deswegen wird die Auswahl der Teilnehmer per Losverfahren durchgeführt.

Die Kurse finden alle im Raum 0.422 (großer CIP-Pool) statt.

Je nach Nachfrage kann es sein, dass in diesem Semester noch ein weiterer Kurs stattfinden wird.

In cooperation with SAP University Alliances, SAP Education and the SAP University Competence Centers, WIN (Wirtschaftsinformatik Nürnberg) offers all students of the School of Business and Economics of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) the opportunity to participate in extracurricular SAP courses during their studies.

These course offerings have been made possible by the student study fees for the years 2008-2010.

Course Offering: Case Study Courses

In the course the students have to work on practical, integrated case studies with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 in the field of product planning, controlling, logistics and project management.

Before the case studies start, the students get an overview of the company SAP and ERP systems.

Furthermore, the students receive instructions how to work with the system and about the navigation in the system.

For each case study, detailed information about each module will be given. Afterwards the students have to work on the case study itself. During the self-study phase support is provided by SAP instructor and tutors.

Benefits of this SAP case study course include:

  • Practical skills in SAP ERP
  • Understanding the fundamentals of business software and their integration in the  enterprise
  • Insights in different modules of SAP ERP (logistics, controlling, product planning, project management, sales and distribution, materials management
  • Improved chances on the labor market

This course is offered in the winter semester as well as in the summer semester. Furthermore there will be the chance to attend the self-learning course without any presence meetings. After finishing the self-learning course there will be a test about the course content.


In both cases, the student will receive a WIN-SAP certificate.

Summer term 2011:

Block course at 2 Saturdays: 28.05 and 04.06 at 09:00 until 18:00 in PC-Pool (0.422)
Presence course on the following dates: 27.05, 30.05, 03.06, 06.06, 14.06 at 17:30 until 20:45
Self-Learning course (can be done individually)
